To get a deep henna stain, it is important for the henna paste to stay in contact with the skin for a long time; this is where the Mefix adhesive fabric tape comes in handy! It is applied over dry henna paste to prevent it from flaking off. It is a great mess-free option (no more henna flakes everywhere!) and allows for some movement and comfort. We highly recommend this tape for anyone who finds it difficult to keep henna paste on for hours, especially kids!

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

Length: 1 yard (36 inches) - This is enough to cover simple/medium henna designs for both hands (all 4 sides).

DIRECTIONS
Please wait until henna paste is completely dry before using the tape. Please note, Mefix tape cannot be used if you applied henna sealant mixture (only use one of these options to secure your henna).

1. Cut the Mefix tape in sections according to your henna design (e.g. cut separate strips for fingers).

2. Peel the paper backing and stick the tape over the henna design, pressing lightly to ensure good adhesion.

3. Keep the tape on for at least 6 hours or 8-12 hours to get the best henna stain.

3. Carefully peel off the tape. Most of the henna will come off with the tape as it will be stuck to it. For the remaining henna on skin, scrape away with a spoon or butter knife and apply coconut oil or aftercare balm.

For areas that can get sweaty like palms, we do not recommend the use of Mefix tape as trapped moisture can smudge the design. For these areas, henna sealant mixture would be a better choice.
